Q: What documents should i file with chaves County probate court? Step mother hasn't contacted me after fathers death.
Father died in hospice at home. Step mother hasn't notified me. It's now been 1 month since death. Step sisters husband told me how he died and that theres nothing for me and they don't know what probate is, they don't know when the personal representative ( Step mother) is gonna communicate with me, they aren't having a funeral, there is no obituary. And by chance found out from crematory services they asked his death notice be removed from online . His family being brothers and inlaws have stated she keeps him away from people. Years isolated from kin. I was also lied about as a young man to keep me away. Hes rumored to be wealthy. I believe they are trying to cut me out with no will. And keep everything a secret.
