Q: If a tow truck company that was from my ins company's roadside asst damaged my vehicle due to hooking it up wrong
I had my vehicle towed and about 30 minutes later the tow truck driver called me and told me that there was damage underneath my vehicle. He said that the tow hooks were hooked up wrong and tore through underneath my vehicle. He told me that the company that was before him had to have done that because he didn't. I know that can't be true because I was there when the other tow truck company towed it. So this driver hooked the tow hooks to the underneath and it ripped while he was pulling it up onto the flatbed. Now the tow truck company's insurance is saying that there isn't coverage. I don't know who I am supposed to go through now for the damages. I asked my insurance company and they keep transferring me to the roadside assistance but they say that they're not an ins company. Who do I contact about this?
