Q: I work at a major Hospital and was touched by a patient then my charge nurse dismissed my situation.
I was touched in a way that was not welcome by a patient in an elevator. I told my charge nurse who is a male multiple times and he said that it was "Just a cultural thing". I ended up reporting it along with reporting him and a doctor whom he was joking with about the multiple cases of sexual harassment that was reported. I was told by the hospital that it was handled but the charge nurse AGAIN dismissed the issue and acted like he had no idea while the Doctor did the same. I was triggered and had to leave because I explained to both of them I was touched.
