Q: My Fiancé, Was given $9000 to buy a vehicle by his boss for work about a year and a half ago. With the understanding
( although nothing was ever in writing) that a portion of his check every week would be deducted to pay for the car. However his boss never did. A year and a half later we had to sell the vehicle and get a different one due to that vehicle having multiple mechanical issues. His boss was fully aware of what we were doing and knew that we we were trading it in. Now my Fiancé is trying to quit his job and his boss is now saying he owes him $9000 or will sue us. My question is, can he?
