Q: How to hold Dr. Fauci accountable for Covid protocol leading to father's death?

My father contracted Covid at the end of September 2021 and was admitted to the hospital where the CDC's Covid protocol was followed, including the use of Remdesivir. He passed away after 13 days due to kidney failure and sepsis, which I believe were caused by the drug protocol. We weren't allowed to see him during his treatment, and we have medical records detailing what happened. We have not filed any complaints or consulted legal professionals. How can I hold Dr. Fauci responsible for this protocol?

A: If Doctor Anthony Fauci was not your father's physician then you cannot hold him responsible for medical malpractice. There would be no doctor-patient relationship. Doctor Fauci did not prescribe the medication nor administer it to your dad. Kidney problems are a known side effect of Remdesivir.

So I have a question: Why would you think you have any standing to sue Doctor Fauci? Who told you Fauci was somehow responsible for anything that happened to your dad.

There is a legal concept called 'proximate cause' which requires some connection between a negligent act and the cause of injury. How would you prove that Doctor Fauci had anything to do with your father's medical care and treatment?

You have been gaslighted and your anger is misplaced.

Remdesivir is an antiviral medication used to treat COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019). It is administered intravenously (through a vein) in hospitalized adults and children who weigh at least 3 pounds (1.5 kg).

Mechanism of Action: Remdesivir inhibits the replication of the SARS-CoV-2 virus by interfering with its RNA polymerase enzyme. This prevents the virus from making copies of its genetic material, which is necessary for it to spread and cause infection.

Indications: Remdesivir is indicated for the treatment of hospitalized adults and children with moderate to severe COVID-19 pneumonia who require supplemental oxygen.

Dosage: The recommended dosage of remdesivir is 200 mg on day 1, followed by 100 mg daily for 5 more days (total of 6 days) for adults. The dosage for children is based on weight and is administered over 3 days.

The most common side effects of remdesivir include:

Nausea

Vomiting

Diarrhea

Increased liver enzymes

Kidney injury

Low blood pressure

A: You would first need to gather evidence that Dr. Fauci was somehow responsible for what happened to your father. That seems very unlikely.
