Q: Plastic surgery question.

Can I sue a doctor for reconstructive surgery that didn't turn out as expected or described?

A: Elective surgeries can turn bad. Whether you have a cause of action against the surgeon who did this surgery is a matter that would have to be investigated by retrieving all of your hospital, surgical and medical records. The records would be reviewed by a plastic surgeon (assuming that is the field of expertise of the surgeon who did the reconstructive surgery) and then the reviewing physician would have to opine that the surgery you underwent was done negligently and caused whatever injuries, disfigurement you are referring to.
