Boca Raton, FL asked in Family Law for Florida

Q: In the state of florida if a junevile was denied due process, can the whole case be dropped?

He never had an arraignment hearing. Now it will have been 116 days since the original court date. We got back to court on the 30th of Jan. for the hearing, which was suppossed to take place within 21 days to begin with. My son has been in and ut of jail and mental hospitals this whole time, and never got his day in court to plead his case. He is only 16 they want to send him away. I think i may have a case. and of course there is more to the story. But now they are trying to cover their tracks cause they have made somw big mistakes from the begining.

A: What your son needed back then was a private attorney. I hope this has been resolved by now.
