Vero Beach, FL asked in Immigration Law for Florida

Q: Im US citizen/ wife Canadian. She over stayed here by 6 yrs. She went back and we want to legally get CR1 any Advise?

We got married in Canada in 2007. I had landed immigrate status but left to come back to US to help with aging family. She stayed here with me during the 6 years and then left for Ontario. Considering that she over stayed her visit in the US ...can we still get a CR1? Not sure if that is a violation that we will have to wait the 7 years or not. Please give me any advise you have. thank you
