Orange Park, FL asked in Domestic Violence for Florida

Q: Is there a way to have a dissolved injunction expunged from the record?

I was arrested on false allegations of domestic violence. The case was dismissed and expunged. In the expungement I included the injunction but it still shows up. So I petitioned the family court to set a motion to expunge the injunction. I went to court and the judge set a continuation for 1 month. I understand the injunction is a civil matter and is held in family court, instead of criminal court. But my argument is that it stemmed from the same case which was dismissed and expunged of off the record. So I guess I'm trying to figure out whats my options to base my arguments on. And if there are any case laws dealing with this matter. Thank you in advance for any help or info.

A: The argument is that it is scandalous and should be stricken from the record.
