A: A local attorney must advise you because different jurisdictions can apply different doctrines for apportioning liability when multiple parties are to blame. But your question remains open for three weeks. From a textbook standpoint, the infraction against you could result in liability on your part, in the simplest of terms. But how that pans out in terms of your rights to recover for your injuries - only a local attorney could advise you there, and two jurisdictions appear here, Texas and Arkansas. You'd need to consult with a local attorney for more meaningful guidance. Good luck
