Lansing, MI asked in Traffic Tickets for Michigan

Q: Will I still get a ticket or fine for parking in a parking garage that was pay by QR code only, but couldn't pull it up?

We parked in a parking ramp / garage in Detroit and it had no punch ticket, just a sign that said scan the QR code, sign in and pay. There was no phone # or website, just QR code. Our phones couldn't scan it (Androids). We looked around for a kiosk or any other way to pay, or any other info, but there was none. There were no bars to keep you in or out by the entrance / exit, just drive through and it takes a picture of your license's plate on the way out. We were freaking out what to do when we pulled in, couldn't find any other way to pay, so left the car in there and came back later. I assume it scanned my plate on our way out once we left. Would I get a ticket in the mail (most likely for the entire day), or a fine for not paying? Or anything worse? I swear we looked EVERYWHERE for a different way to pay. All they gave was a QR code and it didn't pull up on our phones! No website, no kiosk. That's all the directions said. I'd like to know what are the consequences for this, please.
