Q: I want to appoint my adoptive daughter's grandma to be a temporary legal guardian. Can I do that out of court?
I want to give her temporary decision-making and responsibility powers. I wrote up a contract saying that she is liable and that we shall not be while she is with her, I put in there that she can make decisions about her health, school, etc. Can I do this without going to court. It is a short amount of time.
