Q: Can my parents take a phone I 100% paid for?
Im 16 years old and I recently bought and iPhone 11 and even paid for the data on it with MY MONEY. Not only was it my money, I didn't even use the card I received from my parents. Yet recently they've taken it and aren't allowing it back to me what so ever. Now they also have the phone they gave me but they pay for which I have zero problem with because they pay for it therefore their property. But I feel the phone I pay for myself doesn't have the right to be kept from me. Are they legally allowed to keep it from me? And how do I get it back?
Edit; My father is also trying to force me to give him the info to get in the phone, i gave him a false code out of fear. But now i also fear he may physically confront me. Or do something to the phone. Any advice on what to do if thta happens?
