Q: A friend is being held w/o bond on 4 charges-violating a protective order-w/no prior convictions-what could he be facing
He was in court a couple weeks ago and found not guilty,b/c the judge said based on his ex's accusations he doesn't see where he was violent and the judge told him to stay away from her-cause she has problems. Always calling the police on him,but is always let go. But this time,my friend made threats to her on the phone and his ex says she was in front of the magistrate when he did this. She let him see his children last weekend and she called the police while they were in the mall parking lot-accusing him of keying her car. She claims she has 2 witnesses-he says he didn't do this. But again,he was picked up Thursday on 4 warrants, being in violation of their protective order. And he is being held w/o bond. He has a bond hearing sometime between this coming up Monday and Wednesday.
