Yes, you should hire an attorney. It is unfortunate that you provided a statement. Hopefully, the adjustor did not trick you into saying something that may damage your case. The insurance industry spends millions of dollars training their employees on how to frame questions in a manner where the answer will look good for their insured.

A: attorney padove is absolutely correct. you really need to consult with an injury lawyer and giving statements to the insurance company is typically a bad idea. illinois has very strict laws re slip and falls on snow and ice re whether it was a natural accumulation or not. good luck!
