A: Yes. He has two potential claims. First, he has a workers' compensation claim if his employer has 3 or more employees. This type of claim woudl allow him to get his medical expenses and lost wages paid. Second, he has a personal injury claim against the responsible driver. This claim would allow him to recover his medical bills, lost wages and pain and suffering. His real challenge will probably be that his claim may be too small to make economic sense to pursue. If he only had one or two doctor's visits and no ongoing problems or symptoms, then it is unlikely he will find counsel to represent him and the expenses involved in pursuing the claims would make the claim cost prohibitive to pursue.
