A: You may want to check with a lawyer to see if you might win this case before entering ANY plea. It really doesn't make any difference whether you plead guilty or no contest; "no contest" means you're not fighting the charge and the judge will find you guilty. Because you're charged with driving with a blood alcohol level of .05% when you were under 21, you'll pay a fine and lose your license for a year. In serious cases, where I'm looking for a break from the judge at sentencing because my client is accepting responsibility for the offense, I often urge them to enter a guilty plea instead.
