Asked in Consumer Law for Indiana

Q: Likelyhood of success?

I have purchased a product from a company in Indiana/America (I am from England). Have requested a refund as the product hasn't shown up in 2 years and am getting very rude responses and most of the time no response at all. If I took said person/company owner to a small claims court (and/or) tried to sue him (I'm not sure if that's the same thing) how likely do you think this case'd be to get me my money back? Thanks.

A: It's possible. I would recommend hiring a local lawyer to handle it for you and there is a $90 filing fee in small claims and lawyers aren't cheap so I would ask how much it is worth to you. Now you can file yourself for just the $90 and see how it goes. You might also try filing something with the Better Business Bureau.

Best of luck!
