Q: Do I have to hire attorney to represent me in front of Social Security Hearing?

A: No, you do not have to hire an attorney to represent you in a SS hearing. But I have practiced Social Security Disability law in Virginia for 35 years and I can tell you your chances of success are greatly enhanced if you have an attorney who specializes in SS to help you. For a specialist you can contact the National Organization of Social Security Representatives (NOSSR).
