Ocala, FL asked in Municipal Law for Florida

Q: Need Municipal attorney-City of Ocala Code Dept. didn't notify me of any violation they place a lien on my property

11/20-Received code enfor. bill dated 11/9 with "Final Admin. Order dated 11/16. Phoned Code dept. immediately, advised them that I have not received any violation on property, they advised me that they were sending them to the wrong address-some stranger's address. I requested petition for reduction, I corrected all violations by 2:00pm Nov 23.

11/26-I phoned Code re:"re-inspection" and still "no petition", and to inform him that violations were cured, informed by officer he re-inspected property Nov 23 and property condition acceptable. Received "Petition" on Nov 26.

11/28-Had "Petition" notorized and was told by Code that it would be OK to mail instead of dropping-off since there was no place to park due to concert in the area.

12/4-received "Final order of Non-compliance" with demand for payment of the 11/9 bill.

12/18-Received denial of "Petition".

12/20-Just discovered Lien placed on property 12/6.
