Q: Wife in CA made Will. We married in CA After marriage, I went to prison and she died in unrelated manner. Is Will valid?

A: Sorry, for the sad story. A valid will doesn't become invalid because of husband's imprisonment. There may be some assets acquired subsequent to your marriage that may have to be probated. Depending on the wife's estate, you may have an interest in the estate. Consult a local probate attorney.
