A: Determining if Slip and Fall cases in Texas may be brought or could succeed is very specific to the events and what happened. Your best bet is to sit down with an Attorney and discuss the matter. To recover anything from the hospital will require proving that they were Negligent in their care and had notice of problems or defects with their own facility or that their location was below industry standards or required Codes. I am an Engineer and Attorney and would be glad to talk to you about this in a No Fee / No Obligation consultation. Most of these cases are handled on a Contingency Fee (Attorney is only paid as a percentage of any recovery or settlement).
