Q: My brother was shot in the leg by another young man while playing with a gun

The young man accidentally shot by younger brother while playing with a gun. The bullet shattered the bones in his leg, requiring multiple surgeries. The doctors say that it could effect him for the rest of his life. What are our legal options against this boy, and his family. Damages?

A: Wow, that's a really horrible thing to have happened. The shooter is probably liable. If he is under age, the parents are probably liable.
