Q: QUESTION: should a person go back working with an employerThat is being sued?

I am contacting you for some information to see if I have a possible case

Against my previous employer. On March 17 I was terminated from my job

For positive drug testing result. I explained to the testing lab

And my employer that was not doing any drugs, alcohol or tobacco at all.

I was told by my employer regardless of what I was doing on not doing

That a positive result is immediate termination.

QUESTION: should a person go back working with an employer

That is being sued?

Drug Testing for Rhode Island Employees R.I. Gen. Laws §28-6.5-1 et seq.

I was working for a temp agency, a few days after the firing I received

And e-mail stating they might be able to find me some work.

I'm not sure but I believe they realize they made a mistake.

A: This is a great question to discuss with your lawyer who presumably is bringing the lawsuit. If you can find work elsewhere, that might be a best first option.If you can't, talk to your employer. Perhaps it may be negotiated as part of the settlement.
