Q: Did my constitutional or due process rights were violated?
I am an inmate in the state of Illinois. I was charged with 1st degree capital murder. I was never given a competency exam to see if I was competent to stand trial for capital murder.
I was never given an IQ test to check my intelligence and aptitude.
I was never evaluated by a psychiatrist or mental health professional despite these failures I was convicted of 1st degree murder and went through a death penalty sentencing hearing. ( I was not given a death penalty , I was sentence to 100 years)
I would like to know if my constitutional or due process rights were violated?
