Q: how can i find a location for someone who has been sued in la county small claims court
My childrens father has been running since 2003 from every process server i have ever sent. i few years ago the only address i had for him (grandmothers home) was sold and I cant find him now. He told on of my children that he was being sued for a motorcycle that he fixed (works under the table). I asked child support if they could cross reference the courthouses and they claimed they didnt have access to that information.

You can go to the courthouse and use the public computer to search for the defendant by name; if you find any cases, you can then ask to see the case file and see what address the defendant was served at. However, going through the court records is probably not very efficient. Rather, a better approach would be to hire a competent investigator to conduct a 'skip trace' search and find the defendant's current address for you.
