Q: My wife went to police officer for a protective order. Do I get arrested or convicted?I didn't receive any notice or any
Me and me wife had an argument she said she wants to leave the house. So I said if you want to leave please go. Then she packed her things and left the house. Neither me nor she called Each of us. After 2 days she went to police officer and gave a complaint seeking protective order. I received a call from police officer asking what happened between me and her. He questioned me saying that she complained on me that 2 month back I hitted her. I never did that so I told him no such kind of thing happened. He asked me what I usually do in heated argument, I told him that i will go out of the house for some time or sleep in another bedroom alone. He asked me more questions did u beat her any day. I told him the truth that we never put hands on each other. But he asked me that there is a cut to her finger when she is here do you know any thing about it, which I really don't know and told him that I don't know. Now my question will there be any charges on me. I am worried about it.
