Q: can i sue for defamation of character?
Hello, Last Friday i was given a letter from my roommate saying that i needed to be out by Sunday. but the Wednesday before i had a text conversation with her that stated that i had until march 13 to be gone. fast forward to yesterday she threw my things out and today she is on social media blasting me.
i had to use my savings to move as well
A: I do not see a defamation suit from what you have written. Even if the blasting you on social media is complete lies, you would have to pay an attorney a very large sum of money to sue.
