Boise, ID asked in Uncategorized for Idaho

Q: What does Idaho law state about neighbors, who do not stay on their own property?

I have a next door neighbor who is driving on my property whenever they back their boat into their backyard, which has ruined my sprinklers close to the property line. I have had several run ins with this neighbor regarding their children always in my front yard as well. Also one of their children keeps harassing my family as we are walking to our vehicles and we have also had issues with this same child bouncing balls, etc. on our vehicles and being an overall menace.

A: The neighbor should pay for the damage. You could probably sue in small claims court if you have enough proof.
