Q: Only lived in property 10.5 months. Leaving it immaculately clean. Can they keep $300 of deposit for cleaning fee?
The lease does say this is a mandatory minimum charge; but can they really charge for something that isn't done?
A: Read the lease. They have to send you a letter saying why the deposit is not being paid in full back to you.
