Q: Can i transfer a dv case from nj to ohio because i am unable to get to nj
Was in nj prison when case was heard and a failure to appear was issued. I meed to get the suspension nj put on my license lifted
A: You cannot get a criminal matter transferred from a NJ court to an OH court. Ohio courts do not have jurisdiction to hear a case that happened in NJ and therefore cannot take the case.
