Q: Ia asked to hold a snake

My sister in law left a snake at my house for me to hold she hasn't come to see it in two weeks haven't not good food it or helped get rid of the mites it has. Do I have to give it back or is it mine now since I've been feeding it and get rid of the mites it has

A: Unless she abandoned the pet or otherwise transferred ownership to you it is still her snake; you will have to return it. However, you should be compensated for reasonable expenses spent for its care.
