Asked in Immigration Law for Louisiana

Q: Hi, my b1b2 visa was cancelled 21 years ago when i was just 9 years old. Am i eligible for visa application?

21 years ago when I was just 9, my b1b2 visa got cancelled due to 3 years over stay. We immediately left the US and my 1989 visa had "cancelled" and "241 a 1 b" written across it.

Hone to God I just found this out last week cuz my parents never told me.

We left the US asap and last 2 years i traveled for a visit twice on the ESTA with no problem entering and NO I DID NOT OVER STAY MY 90 DAYS.

Now i need to apply for a b1 visa in my home country and in the DS160 form they ask about any previously issued visas, their dates and the length of stay.

1) should i just be honest? and put down the real dates in my application form?

2) i want to be honest because if i lie about it, i could be permanently banned and that's the last thing i want.

3) I've read online about people in the same situation but they lied and got away with it, however i wasn't brought up that way and i feel i should be honest. i was just 8 years old, i didn't know anything
