Deltona, FL asked in Family Law for Florida

Q: Can I get a modification of my current shared parental agreement due to my daughter's school zoning?

My ex husband and I share custody of my 13 year old daughter. Our current parental agreement states that she is to go to school according to the zoning for his DeLand FL home. She has always attended private school that is very close to him but an hour round trip for me. He recently moved to Orange City FL. I approached him to see if he would be open to enrolling her in a school that is more centrally located to be fair to both of us. He refused and plans on registering her for the public high school near him and wants me to continue doing all the driving. This puts a huge strain on me with my car and my job because of the distance and time of day to take her and pick her up. I have no help, whereas he has parents who help him and will have the public school bus system. Is there anything I can do to have this situation become more balanced? Can I have the parental agreement modified so he can not control this any longer? Thanks.
