Q: I got a loan on a vehicle. I couldn't pay so I called and forfeited the vehicle. I came home from work, no vehicle.
Received a letter stating that the company had possession of vehicle and it would be auctioned off at a specific date. 3 months later I'm receiving calls that they do not have the vehicle and I am still responsible. I do not have the vehicle, but have the letter saying that they have it. What do I do?
A: Hire an attorney or contact a consumer protection agency. If they lost the car, that would seem to be their problem.
