Q: legal advise regarding property and childen in Puerto Rico

My grandmother husband passed away about 10 year now and the house they lived inin Puerto Rico has not been sold because he had children. Noticies have been sent to the children's latest know addresses and it have been in the news papers for the children to either claim or refuse their share. This has been going on for the pass10 year and is on file and still open with an attorney in Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico is their a time frame by law that if no respond has been sent back to the attnorey those share legally default to my grandmother or will this situation be ongoing forever. Also we have a renter in the property currently what would my grandmother have to do so that her daugther which is also my grandmother's power of attoney legally have the right to the property at her demise.

Thank you,

A: You need to ask an attorney in the Puerto Rico section. Good luck.
