Q: Refusal of Contract, What can I do.
For the last 10 years, our company has been manufacturing defense articles under Manufacturing License Agreement with Authorized Company(CPS) in US, However, with the recent revisions to USML categories, nearly all of the items we manufacture have transitioned from USML- to Commerce Control List (CCL)-control.
Nevertheless Our agreement is still up to Aug.2022. They(CPS) are going to cancel our Manufacturing License Agreement! for the transitioning of commodity.
What can we do. I think they have no right to cancel our agreement until the agreement is expired.
Thank you
A: Ask a DE lawyer to review the terms of the agreement, especially the portions addressing termination. Be well.
