Asked in Medical Malpractice for New York

Q: A hosp. pharmacist lowered my seizure medication without my consent which resulted in a granmal seiz do I have a claim?

I recently had total shoulder replacement and spent the night at a hospital. The hospital based pharmacist took it upon himself to lower my dose of my regularly prescribed seizure medicine without my neurologists consent and without my consent. This action resulted in my having a grand mal seizure ( I am epileptic ) As a result of the seizure, I have experienced complications ( instability ) with my new artificial shoulder, specifically the right shoulder blade subluxing. At no time did I nor any of my doctors give permission to the hospital based pharmacist permission to adjust any of my required epilepsy medications.
