Q: is there some sort of legal rights that a teenager has agiants parents for invaition of privicy over technology
For the past three years my mother has attached a program to my phone where she can read every single thing I do. (including texting, Instagram, Facebook, google searches and even Snapchats that I have already opened) and I don't do anything bad she calls all of this trying to protect me but it has been taken too far, it's been ruining my life. She has become so obsessed the past year since I've been sick and out of school for treatment for industrial chemical exposure for the past nine months. She has gotten to the point of not letting me have a conversation with my friends without her reading and discussing with me and she has even gone on lots of my friends phones including mine and has written things pretending to be us and she has even gone into vurbally abusing me daily and no one will help me because there too scared and all its doing is causing me depression and not only do I have no privacy on my phone she can't spend thirty minutes without being with me, and its getting to a
A: You are a minor and must wait until you are 18 until you can live as you want. I think your mother should be commended for being able to keep track of what you do. It is to protect you.
