Stanhope, NJ asked in Social Security for New Jersey

Q: Hi, I had been diagnosed with Multi Sclerosis (MS) about three years ago. Do I qualify for SSDI? Limping and no balance

Hi, I had been diagnosed with Multi Sclerosis (MS) about three years ago. On April 15, 2015 I was terminated from the job that I worked for 17 years. Was employed by another manufacturing company, and only worked for three weeks. The supervisor noticed that I was limping, losing my balance and resting my body an object or wall. He asked if I was ok? I told him about the MS problem, then he spoke with the general manager and gave me a Medical Questionnaire for the Neurologist to fill out. Now I'm collecting unemployment, trying to apply for a job, but when I mention the MS issue I don't get hired. Lately my wife and I was noticing changes with my daily living. I'm asking for your help and advice if disability is the option that I should take.

A: Your best chance of getting SSDI is to retain a SSDI attorney. The attorney only gets paid if he wins the case for you. So it won't cost you anything and can make a huge difference. Good luck.
