Asked in Lemon Law for New Jersey

Q: Does the car dealership have to give me a refund?

I purchased a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder 2 weeks ago, but now it's having problems. The car keeps bucking and after taking it to the mechanic I found out that it had a slew of issues : leaking radiator, broken oxygen sensors, overheating coils. I waived the dealers obligation to the vehicle and also signed a waiver to the lemon law.

A: You need to retain counsel and have the attorney send the dealer a letter. The contract you signed will need to be reviewed by a retainer, but it is unlikely that a waiver of the Lemon law will be upheld by a Court. Good luck.
