Q: Can the police use the information I gave against me in court? What are my options?How do you think this will turn out?
My boyfriend and a friend at the time got into an altercation which resulted in my boyfriend smashing the guys windsheild. Cops we're called, my boyfriend took off and out of panic I gave the cops lots of information. The next day the guy pressed charges and wrote me down as a witness. I'm not sure if he knew my address so I may or may not get a summon. But if I do there is no way I will testify against my boyfriend. His bad mistake could ruin out future.
