Louisville, KY asked in Criminal Law for Kentucky

Q: What can i do about my daughter and i being threatened to be killed by my husbands ex wife ..

I have been with my husband for 12 years now and his ex wife has been harassing me for that long . She has tried and succeeded in turning my 2 step children against me and her last threat to kill me and my daughter was made just a week ago .. how long do i have to put up with this ? i havent in all these 12years said one mean thing to her in fact I say nothing at all to keep the peace ... Im tired of being threatened and slandered just because i've done what she refused to do "raise her children " .. i feel like she's trying to get me to be as dumb as she is but its not happening. . What can i do to stop her ? I live in Kentucky now since 2006 but that hasn't stopped the harassment , it seems to have only made things worse .. this sumner vacation she gave her kids alcohol and let them smoke pot and God only knows what else and there seems to be nothing i can do because im only step mom ... please help me stop her harassment. .. tell me what i can do please ..
