Ashtabula, OH asked in Divorce for Ohio

Q: My husband is a heroin addict. if i file for divorce can i have him removed from out home? what are my options?

He has sold everything i love. The only thing he hasnt done is physically abuse me. I have asked him to leave repeatedly but he refuses. I want him out of my life so bad. I also have a 16 y.o. handicapped daughter who doesnt need an addict for a father. I dont want child support or alimony. The only thing he supports is his habit. I just want him gone. Is there any way i can legally have him evicted. Our house is paid off but do not have the title work done. It was a land contract in both our names but i paid all the house payments and the bills.

A: You really need to go see a divorce attorney in person and discuss this. His addiction, even without physical abuse, may be enough to convince a court that your child needs to be protected from him, which would get him out of the house.
