Q: Client cancelled final check on our job. Forged insurance and license documents to her property mngmt.....
She paid us on final day, then said there was problem with floor we installed. Cancelled the check. She kept egging us on on when we could come back and fix it. She revealed to me on the final day of completion of work, that she had called another company to submit their insurance, license information for her building Management by forcing them to submit it before they gave her estimate. She then hired us to go in there and work, for 3 weeks. Security checked us in every day for over 3 weeks with no issue. (We are insured and licensed by the state of nj btw) When we finished, she wrote a check, then on 2 day later, she cancelled saying the epoxy wasnt fully cured. We told her we would come and fix it, and she kept saying to wait, and wait and wait and wait, then she stopped picking responding. We sent her letter trying to make good on it, she sent another saying she would sue us and wed have to give her money back for being unlicensed, We are licensed and insured. Shes scamming us.
