Q: I'm a US permanent resident and my son is in the United States Illegally. Is there away for me to get him legal?

He graduated High School and wants to keep studying

A: Hello,

The simple answer to your question is YES. You can help him get a green card but there are a lot of other things that need to be done in order to obtain the green card.

1. Your son is here illegally, we need to file a waiver or get advance parole to have him come into the country legally.

2. We need to know how old he is and which country he is from

3. Depending on which country he is from we can find out how long it is going to take for him to get a green card.

I highly recommend contacting an immigration attorney in private to help you and your son with this process. You should try to start this process before your son turns 21. All the best.
