Dunn, NC asked in Medical Malpractice for North Carolina

Q: Do I have a medical malpractice case?

Hello, I was recently hospitalized for 25 days following a MRSA infection in my blood resulting in a VATS and Heart Valve replacement surgery. I went to an urgent care first, who told me to rush to the hospital that I was septic. The first hospital I went to told me I had a pulled shoulder and a UTI and sent me home with oral antibiotics. I waited a week for this to get better and finally went to another hospital. They found I was still septic, had clots all over my lungs, abscess, an empiema, and my mitrial valve was destroyed They wanted to have me on IV antibiotics for a week before a surgery, which i later was told would have killed me. 5 days later I moved myself to UNC Chapel Hill. To be brief they performed the surgeries and saved my life. This is short but does anyone see a suit?

Too much info to tell, please let me know if anything specific has been left out. Thank you in advance.
