Q: A kid I gave a ride to left his cell phone in my car...i

held on to the until I was supposed to s33 him again but is been well over a month and a half since I have seen him....and patently it was his mother's phone which she has made MY responsibility to get to her.. her son also took 50$ from me and now I have had 0 contact with either if them until she told me I had til today at 3pm to get it in her mailbox and she won't press charges....however. ..i left the phone she is looking for now, at one of my girlfriend s houses and now she lost it ....what do I do and can she really press charges when it was his responsibility not mine too get it back to her...esp considering I just had a premature babyabout 3 weeks ago and I do not drive a car

A: I really don't care to wade through your sloppy English in order to figure out exactly what you are trying to say.

If he foolishly left a cell phone in your car, and you somehow agreed to get it back to him, you could be responsible if it has subsequently been lost. Personally, I would have told them to pick it up at your place. Apparently you did more than that, so you may have some liability.
