Q: I got a letter stating "entry of appearance" does this mean I'm being sued? I've never been in any kind of trouble.
It is from my workmans comp insurance.. I missed an appointment but I have been in regular contact with them throughout everything. I had a mandatory appointment today that I DID attend. All workmans comp checks I received I had permission from my representative to cash them. I returned to light duty work and notified them of it in wich they lowered my workmans comp pay as normal and as i expected. Could they just have hired a attorney to make sure I attend my appointments and make sure I do as I'm suppose to kind of like companies hire collection agency's to get money owed? I've never been in any trouble. I have not gotten anything from a court or sherrifs office. I received the entry of appearance about two weeks ago. Please help and tell me I'm not being sued as long as I'm doing what I'm suppose to. Thank you
