Q: dv happnd 3wks ago.police called.didnt find him that night.since is back w/me and weve heard nothing?whats likly to hapn

i called the police/pressed charges/tried to drop officer wouldnt let me/since is with me again and we havent heard a thing about it. the police call wasnt in the local paper.hes afraid theyre just going to arrest him at his job w/no notice.just wonder if you may know what steps the prosecutor may be taking? or if since i tried to drop charges maybe the officer just shredded it? i mean we have heard NOTHING about this any further. it was on new years eve night/new yr morning. is this something worthy of an indictment? he had one other dv on me 5 years ago and did time for that. both incidents involved way too much liquor & attitude. since nothing was in police calls/arrests/indictments for that date in local news... what do you think? any advice would be great? i dont want to call prosecutor to ask and speed up a possible arrest or make any thing worse, also every time we call for warrant check there is none

A: It would be prudent to call the your local municipal court and inquire as to whether a warrant has issued for his arrest. It is likely one has issued.
